One of the most basic human needs is security. In order to meet this need, states have established insitutions and organizations with the necessary technical, knowledge and equipment over time. With the thought that the need for security should be provided not only in the military dimension, but olsa through the judical and administrative law enforcement forces, the have become the cornerstones of providing security in forces such as the poliçe and gendarmerie. In addition to these the concept of “private security” has been formed in social and institutional terms in order to catch up with the changing perception of public service in the globalizing and privatizing World. In line with this purpose, educational institutions have also started to open private security and protection programs.

Muş Alparslan Universsity has opened Private Security and Protection Program under yhe Property Protection and Security Department of Varto Vocational School in order to meet this demand and to ensure the effectiveness of people who have received academic training in the sector.
